Two poisoned with carbon monoxide

Two Basalt residents were found unconscious in their home Thursday morning after a car had been left running in the garage and a carbon monoxide detector was disabled.

The two unidentified people were transported to Aspen Valley Hospital in “very serious condition,” according to a Basalt Fire and Rescue press release.
